I’m just curious. A town not too far from my location has modeling and acting auditions every once in a while. In the future I want to attend one for acting, so what should I expect?
I can’t remember, but it’s not a scam, to my knowledge. They signed my friend for modeling, which is why I started looking into it.

I’ve been told for a while that I have a great voicce and that i could be famous but ther problem is that when i have to sing for something important, i always chocke. If its with friedn or family its easy and they all see how good i am but anytime its for an audition i can never do it. So i guess i have two questions. I’m about to audition to be in a big theatre production. There is no singing or dancing though.
I was wondering, since this will be my first ever acting audition, what should I expect?
I’ve been given 3 monologues to perform, I was wondering, if they give you 3 monologues, do they say thanks at the end of the first one and then say, “now do the second one”?
They will also ask me to do a cold reading, so I was wondering, do you have any improvisation tricks?
Any good answers would be greatly appreciated!
