You don’t want to be noticed for all the wrong reasons, so it’s important to be careful what you do and where you go.

Learn what’s important when it comes to acting and you can make decisions that will help you stand out in the crowd. Try working as a stage hand to observe the actors up close. This will give you some ideas as to how the directors and actors work together. You can pick up tips on how to keep things running smoothly and what characteristics get the best results in this type of environment.

This is a good way to get noticed but it’s vital that you are careful what you put on the site. You don’t want something that will damage your career before it has time to take off. Plus, it helps to build your self esteem and confidence as you are getting the practice you need to continue improving your acting skills.

Independent film makers may be looking for new actors and actresses that are searching for their big break. Who knows, either of these could get you the attention you need to launch your career.

Always be persistent and go after what you want. The acting industry is too competitive for you to sit around and hope something comes your way. You must make the effort to get out there and be noticed.
